Follow MESA SJSU Online!

  • Students have to complete the registration deadline by the designated registration deadline.

    Students may not participate in the MESA program through the SJSU Center if they do not register into the program first.

    Students must complete the following to register into the MESA Program at SJSU:

    1. Fill out their google form with all necessary information to be entered into the MESA database

    2. Turn in the Parent Authorization Form (PAF) to their advisor.

  • Students have many chances through the year in order to participate in the MESA Program.

    For MESA students MESA Day is a MANDATORY EVENT!

    Along with MESA Day all MESA students who want to graduate with the program and fill out Senior Petition must participate in TWO MESA events per year.

    MESA sponsored Events Can Include:

    MESA Family Day

    SJSU Center Competitions:

    -Bridges

    -College Poster Board

    MESA sponsored Workshops

    And More!

    MESA will highlight it’s MESA sponsored events while promoting them!

  • MESA student are given an chance to become the leaders within their chapters!

    Leadership Programs: United Council of MESA Chapters (UCMC)

    The UCMC Program allows students to participate at the near same level as a MESA advisor. Students are given the chance to learn how to run their MESA chapter with their MESA advisors and excel!

  • MESA’s Senior Petition is for students who have been an active participant in the program 2 or more years.

    Students may graduate as either a Certificate of Graduation student or an Outstanding Certificate of Graduation Student.

    Students must be active leaders, participants and have good grades to apply for graduation through the program.

    Students when filling out the petition can earn money awards for college. Last year alone the highest award was $1,000!
